"In no uncertain terms, engagement equals giving!"

When speaking with donors about their most meaningful gifts, there is almost always a comment that increased giving is directly related to increased engagement. “I give more because I am involved, engaged, connected to the work and/or the people.”

If development professionals continue to only steward donors for transactional gifts, gifts from event based fundraising or crowdfunding, we will not attain the transformational level of giving.

This three-part series workshop will navigate the difference between transactional giving and transformational giving and provide tools to understand how to find and leverage the true passions of your donors.

Susan Kramer, a consultant who partners with non profit organizations to plan, build, and executive strategies that cultivate financial abundance through organization transformation, will walk us through the methodology she has created to support organizations in cultivating transformational gifts. Learn how to conduct discovery interviews with donors and prospects and how to take that information to the next level, creating proposals to match donor passion with the values and actions of your school for ultimate philanthropic impact.
