Dan Glass


Dr. Dan Glass is in his ninth year as head of school at The Brandeis School of San Francisco, Northern California’s oldest and largest Jewish day school. He has written extensively on progressive education, Jewish spirituality and ethics, contemporary poetry and school governance and leadership. Dan has published four collections of poetry and has taught elementary schoolers through undergraduates as well as adults on topics ranging from ethics and design to poetics and rap music. He has served on nonprofit boards supporting independent schools, school leadership associations and the Bay Area Jewish community.
