May we include faculty and staff members in our work with these providers even if they did not participate in the Race and School Culture Deep Dive synchronous sessions?
Definitely.
We’d like to work with our consultant for more than 4 sessions, is that possible?
Yes. Prizmah is happy to fully fund the cost of the first 4 hour-long consulting sessions. After that time, Prizmah will no longer be involved in the business arrangement and the school is more than welcome to enter into a direct contract with the consultant.
These offerings are incredible! May we choose more than one and pay for the second one out-of-pocket?
You are definitely welcome to reach out to the second provider directly and attempt to arrange for an engagement with them. Prizmah will not be involved in the business arrangement of that second engagement.
May we split the funds between multiple providers?
Unfortunately, not this time.
May we use these funds to pay for previously contracted work with any of these providers?
No, the goal of these funds is to support the start of new work for your school. All existing contracts should be paid for out of pre-existing funds.
We tried to schedule our sessions and are not able to get everything done before January 31, 2022. May we please have an extension?
Our goal is to make this work for your teams - and to keep the momentum going in your investment in race and school culture. Please reach out to Debra Shaffer Seeman should you have any case-specific questions like this one.
Some members of our team would like to work with a consultant and some would like to join a Prizmah Collaborative, is that okay?
Yes. Since these offerings are completely subsidized, we strongly encourage your team to join both. Don’t hesitate to include members of your team who did not participate in the synchronous Race and School Culture Deep Dive sessions in either the consulting, ongoing learning, or Collaboratives.
May I send a thank you letter to the funders who have invested in my growth?
What a lovely idea! Please send them to Debra Shaffer Seeman and we’ll gladly collect and forward them to the funders.
