Prizmah and BoardSource have partnered to bring the Jewish day school field highly subsidized, customized packages for assessing and improving board performance. These services feature a Board Self-Assessment tool and follow-up training with Prizmah coaches.

Board Governance 101

This offering is designed to meet the needs of schools with a developing Board of Directors. By employing tutorials, case studies, and interactive exercises, we will lay a strong foundation of knowledge and purpose that is essential to strong governance and engagement.

Coaching: Board Presidents, Board Chairs and Lay Leaders

Using best practice from similar schools and experience working with school leaders, both lay and professional, we will work with you to assess your strengths and opportunities for growth, to clarify roles, and to define an action plan designed to develop and strengthen key relationships and bring in more funds.

Generations

Generations, designed to transform the way schools fund their budgets by soliciting endowment and legacy gifts, is for schools looking to secure their long-term future.  With fundraising coaching customized for each school and incentive grants to reach campaign goals, schools will build their endowment funds—and provide an insurance policy for our Jewish future. Generations leverages the cumulative learning, experience, and results from four distinguished programs: the PEJE Legacy Pilot Program, the Camp Legacy Program for the Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy, San Diego’s Create a Jewish Legacy©, and the MetroWest (New Jersey) Day School Campaign.

Governance & Fundraising Academy (GFA)

GFA boosts a school’s financial sustainability by making sure that a solid governance and fundraising program is in place and is built on effective strategies for annual campaign planning, donor rating and assignment; moves management planning and execution, and donor cultivation techniques.

New Development Director Training

A comprehensive orientation for new Admission Directors will offer insights on best practice, covering the key areas of knowledge, including board relationship management, annual campaign management, major gifts cultivation and solicitation.

Strategic Planning that Works

Using proprietary tools, techniques, and accelerated pacing, we will guide your board in developing a data-driven 3-5 year strategic plan that will guide your school’s operations, finances, and governance systems towards viability.
