Hosted at Gann Academy (Waltham, Massachusetts)
This program is open to school-based development professionals with eight or more years of fundraising experience.

In-person learning and networking is invaluable and amplifies the work of our schools and the field of day  school fundraising. At this moment, when we can get back together, we are ready to take full advantage of that.

Join the 6th annual Senior Development Professionals Retreat hosted at Gann Academy in Waltham, Massachusetts. This intentionally-designed experience will provide you with opportunities to network, collaborate and learn from one another in meaningful, thought-provoking ways. Deepen your connections to your community of colleagues with powerful learning and practical conversations. Together with your peers, explore ideas that work and innovative approaches that you can apply in your own school and community.

Program Outline

To make the most out of this experience, please plan on attending each of the three days.

Our program will begin at 2:00 PM ET on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 and end at 3:00 PM ET on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Our goals for this retreat are to get our hands dirty and work on something together that we can take pieces back to our schools and potentially implement on the ground.  The program will include small group case study work, opportunities to share projects, success and expertise with the group and conversations with donors and funders.

Covid Protocols

Prizmah prioritizes the health and safety of our community. We continue to closely monitor CDC, local health authority, and Prizmah medical advisory team guidance for gatherings and will follow those guidelines. Final protocols and guidelines will be shared with participants in June.

Retreat participants, presenters, and Prizmah staff are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. In addition, we require booster shots for all participants who are eligible to receive one. Full vaccination is defined as having received two doses of vaccines with a 2-dose protocol or one dose of vaccines with a 1-dose protocol. Fourteen days must have elapsed following the administration of the final vaccine dose. All participants will be asked to submit proof of vaccination during the registration process. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, proof must be submitted by Tuesday, June 28th.

We will continue to review safety factors as needed. Decisions will be made in consultation with Prizmah’s medical advisors and current guidance from health authorities. We may request or require additional protocols as we get closer to the event date. Final protocols and guidelines will be confirmed in June.

If you feel sick, we ask that you stay home. If you develop any signs of illness while at the retreat, you will be asked to isolate yourself from other participants.
If you have questions about our Covid safety protocols, please reach out to Elissa Maier at .
