Join the 9th annual Senior Development Professionals Retreat. This intentionally designed experience for senior development professionals will provide the opportunity to network, collaborate and learn from one another in meaningful and thought-provoking ways. Deepen your connection to a community of colleagues with powerful learning and practical conversations. Together with peers from across North America, explore ideas that work and innovative approaches that you can bring back and apply to your own school and community.
In-person learning and networking is invaluable and amplifies the work of our schools and the field of day school fundraising. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to spend time together again this summer.

This program is open to veteran school-based development professionals, which are often categorized as professionals with 8 or more years of fundraising experience. If you are interested in the retreat but have fewer than 8 years of experience, please be in touch with Traci Reisberg.
Program Outline
To make the most out of this experience, please plan on participating in-person for the entire retreat.
The program will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 and end at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. A detailed program schedule will be available late spring.
Meals & Snacks
Registration fees include lunch and dinner on Monday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Tuesday and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday. Snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the retreat.
All food served at the Senior Development Professionals Retreat will be strictly kosher. More information about the catering arrangements and kosher supervision will be made available to participants in advance of the gathering.
Venue, Hotel, and Travel Information
The Senior Development Professionals Retreat will take place in Chicago, Illinois. The name and address of the venue will be shared with registered participants. If you are traveling by plane, you can fly into either Chicago O’hare International Airport (ORD) or Midway International Airport (MDW). Depending on traffic, either airport can be 30-60 minutes away from the venue. Public transportation may take 60-90 minutes from the airport to school.
For your convenience, Prizmah has arranged a block of hotel rooms at a nearby hotel at a reduced rate of $199 per night, available on a first come-first-served basis until June 20, 2025. A link to book hotel reservations at this discounted rate will be provided to registered participants in your confirmation email.
The hotel is located 4.5 miles away from the school and is an easy 15-20 minute trip via Chicago public transportation or rideshare/taxi.
Detailed public transportation for travel both to/from the airports as well as to/from the hotel and school will be provided.
Please note: In addition to state and local taxes, the hotel has a mandatory $25/night “destination fee” that includes a $25 food and beverage credit, premium wifi and entry into the Chicago Sports Museum and Chicago Architectural Center.
