The Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition, which launched in September, is the largest Jewish communal effort to date mobilizing Jewish institutions to address the climate crisis. Join this session to learn how you and your team can engage your entire school community and take meaningful action on climate change. By joining the coalition and participating in Prizmah’s Climate Leadership Collaborative, you will be part of a network of schools working towards meaningful change, and you will have the opportunity to learn from the experience of your colleagues across the network and from experts at Hazon.
Risa Alyson Cooper is Hazon’s Chief Climate Officer, working closely with members of the Climate Action Division to support Jewish community organizations in setting and achieving their climate action goals. Prior to joining Hazon, she served as the Founding Executive Director of Shoresh Jewish Environmental Programs for 13 years. In 2013, she received the Covenant Foundation’s Pomegranate Prize for emerging Jewish educators.
