Lindsay is the executive director of Civic Spirit, which partners with schools from faith traditions in reinvigorating civic education. The organization offers a platform for educators to foster learning opportunities at the intersection of religion and civic responsibility and for students to practice problem-solving across diverse racial, political, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. Civic Spirit has launched We the Educators, a 3-week virtual civics symposium with teachers at the center, framing our democratic future. The symposium will enable middle and high school educators in day schools to engage with leading scholars and gain practical tools for elevating civic learning in the classroom.
