Prizmah and A More Perfect Union are coming together to spotlight nonpartisan, high-impact opportunities to protect and strengthen American democracy at a critical time for our nation. Learn how we can work together to expand opportunities for civic learning, cultivate the practice of democracy, ensure free, fair, safe, and accessible elections, and promote ideological pluralism this year and far into the future. Everything discussed has been vetted for nonpartisanship and is tailored for leaders and teachers at Jewish day schools.

Aaron is Founder and Executive Director of A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy, an effort to mobilize the American Jewish community to protect and strengthen American democracy. A More Perfect Union’s work in 2022, its inaugural year, is focused on ensuring a free, fair, safe, and accessible 2022 midterm election by supporting American Jewish institutions to recruit poll workers, poll watchers, and lawyers; to establish new polling sites; and to build relationships to support local election officials. Previously, Aaron served as President of Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah, Vice President for Programs of American Jewish World Service, and Director of Informal Education at Temple Isaiah of Contra Costa County. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Aaron and his wife Talia live in Brooklyn, New York, where they’re raising three fierce feminist daughters and one bearded dragon.
